Rattle Snake

This story explains so much!

An Indian was on a mountain top in the dead of winter. The Indian came up on a rattle snake. The rattle snake asked the Indian to carry it down the mountain because it was deathly cold. The Indian replied with, no I will not carry you, you will bite me! The rattle snake pleaded with Indian saying, I promise I won't bite you, I will die up here if I don't come down, please take me to the bottom of the mountain. The Indian finally agreed to take the snake to the bottom of the mountain. The Indian put the snake in his coat and took the snake to the bottom of the mountain. When the Indian got to the bottom of the mountain, he sat the rattle snake on the ground. The rattle snake immediately bit the Indian. The Indian said, I thought you said that you wouldn't bite me!!!!! The rattle snake replied...... you knew I was a rattle snake when you picked me up and you knew I would bite you, but you carried me anyway!

The point of this story is, if you know its a rattle snake, its gonna stay a rattle snake! If the warning signs are there in the beginning, pay attention to them! Its very rare that people really do change! And things never change!

Taking A Break From Being Clever

John Mayer whom up until this point is a musical artist that I had a lot of respect for recently made some really off color comments about black women to Playboy magazine. Mayer eventually apologized publicly in Nashville of all places for his comments. He said that he needs to take a break from trying to be clever. Obviously Mayer was trying to be funny and he wasn't. Here is a perfect example of what happens when somebody attempts to be someone that they are not. If you have to put that much effort into being funny, or to win peoples attention you are eventually going to say something really stupid and look like an idiot. So the lesson of this story is be yourself, because when you are not........you are going to look like the idiot, and people are going to start at you in bewilderment!

Its All Temporary

I have decided that there is no point in letting things bother me. All things and situations are temporary! The BS at work, the crap your man puts you through, people being fake etc. I see people getting worked up about various situations......... who cares its just temporary! Im appreciating the good things in life. I don't have a baby of my own, but I get to hold and love baby Charlie and all the other babies which makes me so grateful. I don't have a man but I have an amazing family that loves me. I have the girls, we are gonna have a great time friday night, just hanging out at the jewelry party. When I need my inspiration to love myself I just turn on Beyonce or Dave Matthews and its all good! As Madea says; look in the mirror, smile at ya self....... TING!!!!!!!
