In life you realize that there are few you can trust. There is one person that you will always be able to count on no matter what. He will stick with through thick and thin, never turn his back and will always be real. This song is near and dear to my heart and when I need encouragement I blast it on the Ipod. I Guess Its Been A While

Its been a while since my last post. Life is hectic these days. I have been back on 2nd shift for about two months and its a lot busier!! I am excited to have three days off again however so the extra work is worth it. I am looking forward to football season coming up, it just seems like that time of year is the best. Other then that there is nothing new going on my life. I just spend time with family and friends which is nothing new. Some good days some not so good days but thats life. I will put up another post when I come across something worth while, we'll see when that is!

Just the way im feeling

I ask myself what is the point of dreaming? Dreaming sets you up for disappointment in life. I am coming to grips with the fact that the fairy tale that I live in my head will never come true. I have my career goals that I may or may not accomplish in life but thats it. I have expectations that are set too high for my life. I am trying to deal with that day by day. Life just is what it is!

Reflection

I recently came across a quote, " Friendship is like a violin, the music may stop now and then, but the strings will last forever". Such a great quote! Take time and reunite with an old friend. I just got back from Nashville and spent some time with a couple of old friends. Even though we don't talk everyday, when we get back together its like we just pick up where we left off. Take some time, sit with an old friend and look at old pictures together. Me and Chasity sat for about two hours looking a pictures from the past and laughed until our stomachs hurt, it was so refreshing. It was a reminder of all the great memories that we had and made us look forward to the memories that we will make in the future. Call up an old buddy and do some reflecting on the good old days!

Take The Time Out!!!

I am so blessed to have such great friends whom I can pick up and take a quick road trip, go to a movie, a random dinner, have girl talk, make great memories and have good laughs. I recently went on a road trip to the ATL with a long time bestie and got to build a relationship with a new bestie, its doesn't get any better. And not to leave out the guys, my friend Adam drove all of OMG Girls ( Ashlee, Emily, Quenna and myself) as we have been nicked named to Wha Bas for the comedy show a couple of weeks ago. It just let me know how blessed I was because he is such a good friend who is all about his friends having a good time and is always looking out for you. Im going to Florida in a couple of weeks with more girlfriends and can't wait, because once again, I get to spend good times with great girls. I get down b/c I am not dating anyone and oh well, at least I have good friends to hang with. This is going to be a great summer with more trips and good times with friends and family, I can't wait!

Friends Are Important

Family is real important but so are friends! They are there for you through hard times, and good times. I'm very blessed because when I stop and think, I'm rich with great friends. I recently spent time with a life long friend. No matter how long we go with out speaking, when we get back together its like we haven't missed a beat. With the invention of Facebook, I am able to keep up with many friends. I have seen time and time again where people sacrifice friends for romantic relationships.....what a shame. When that emotional relationship is done, they frequently look around and realize that they have abandoned all of their friends. Don't be that person!
